UNC Hospitals Department of Audiology is seeking a full-time Clinical Audiologist to provide outpatient diagnostic services across the lifespan at multiple locations, including: * Orange County: UNC Hospitals Hearing & Voice Clinic at Carolina Crossing * Chatham County: UNC Hospitals Audiology at Pittsboro * Wake County: UNC Audiology Services at Cary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced audiologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services in a busy ENT clinic setting. The role will focus on the assessment and management of hearing loss, including evaluation, fitting, and programming of hearing aids and cochlear implants. The ideal candidate would have a m inimum of one year of experience in an academic medical center working collaboratively with otolaryngologists and related professionals and experience with student supervision and clinical teaching. Strong collaborative communication skills and the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes are essential. Other Information Other information: Education Requirements: ● Graduation from an accredited Audiology program. Licensure/Certification Requirements: ● Licensed as an Audiologist by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. ● BLS within 3 months of hire date. Professional Experience Requirements: ● Audiologist experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: ● Exhibits effective communication and interprofessional skills ● Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes.
