Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with every third weekend and every other holiday.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse coordinates total nursing care for patients, engages in patient and family education, and provides leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. The RN maintains professional nursing practice standards and recognizes each patient's individuality, ensuring the right to quality nursing care, privacy, and patient rights protection. Adheres to ethical standards defined by the ANA Code for Nurses and complies with regulatory agency standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Facilitate patient and family teaching for health management.
• Work cooperatively with healthcare teams to maintain nursing care standards.
• Ensure adherence to ethical, professional, and regulatory nursing standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED).
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, BLS (AHA).
• Active state license as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
