Tax Accountant

Job Description Job Description We are a Bucks County CPA Firm seeking to hire a full-time Tax Accountant to join the firm. The firm is tax driven and offers a wide range of accounting, tax, and business consulting services to help our clients succeed. A successful candidate must have a BA/BS in accounting along with a minimum of 10 years current tax and accounting experience with a CPA firm. A CPA certification is preferred for this position. Excellent communication skills are required along with being highly organized with the ability to work independently and effectively. The role is 100% onsite. The normal weekly time required for this role is 40 hours a week plus additional hours as overtime during tax season. Key Responsibilities: * Tax preparation of individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary federal, state, and local income tax returns. * Review tax returns prepared by other accountants. * Preparation and examination of accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports for individuals and small businesses. * Report analysis and findings to the management team. Qualifications: * Preferred active CPA license. * 10+ years of public accounting experience preparing tax returns. * Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop preferred. * Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. * Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments. * Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications - Outlook, Microsoft Word & Excel. * Comfortable with both in-person and remote client interactions.
