Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Registered Respiratory Therapist

RN Neonatal Unit
Schedule: Every other weekend required. No call duties.
Assignment Details: Unit accepts first-time travelers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience required.
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT.
- Experience in neonatal respiratory support and ventilator management needed.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support for neonates with various medical needs.
- Manage neonatal respiratory support and ventilator care, including intubation assistance, extubation, and mechanical ventilation.
- Administer oxygen delivery and perform bag-mask ventilation as needed.
- Conduct airway management and suctioning procedures.
- Troubleshoot high-pressure ventilator alarms and assist with weaning from ventilation.
Compliance / Notes: Full compliance required to start on time; documentation must be completed promptly. Max RTO per contract is 7 days; no holiday RTO requests allowed if major holidays fall during the assignment.
