Job Overview

Job firm seeks an Innovation Attorney in Menlo Park, CA, with the option for hybrid or 100% remote work. The role supports innovation in legal service delivery within the Litigation and Intellectual Property business units, focusing on people, process, and technology. The position involves collaboration across various offices and departments, reporting to the Managing Director of Practice Innovation.

Duties
  • Lead projects to optimize client service delivery and increase efficiencies.
  • Coordinate and implement technology integration, including generative AI.
  • Serve as a resource for practice resource questions and issues.
  • Support large litigation docket teams with workflow and resource management.
  • Develop client‑facing solutions and improve practice content delivery.
  • Educate legal professionals on technology and practice content.
  • Maintain case studies for marketing and business development.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of four years of experience as a litigation or IP attorney in a large law firm.
  • Superior communication skills for presenting complex ideas.
  • Problem‑solving skills with practical application in varied situations.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and AI opportunities.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Availability to travel as necessary.
Education
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university or college.
Certifications
  • Admission to practice in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction.
Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Project management and prioritization.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and AI.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
