Job DescriptionAn overview of your responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the preparation, painting, foaming and finishing of HVAC systems and components, ensuring high-quality work.

Design and develop painting systems and procedures for HVAC projects, selecting appropriate coatings for different materials and environments.

Coach and mentor Painter 1s and Painter 2s, providing guidance, training, and support to develop their skills.

Inspect HVAC components and systems to determine the best approach for painting, including surface preparation, coating selection, and application techniques.

Manage and coordinate painting schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects and effective use of resources.

Perform complex painting tasks, including intricate detailing, high-durability coatings, and protective finishes.

Conduct quality control inspections, ensuring finished surfaces meet aesthetic, functional, and durability requirements.

Ensure that all painting work complies with company quality standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.

Maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition and performing preventive maintenance as needed.

Stay current with new painting technologies, materials, and industry best practices, implementing improvements as needed.

Follow instructions and work under the supervision of more experienced painters.

Follow lean manufacturing guidelines, providing continuous improvement suggestions for gained efficiency.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
