Paraprofessional Position

Paraprofessional Requirements: 1. High School diploma or the equivalent, AND 2. Two years of college - 48 units (attach evidence), OR 3. A.A. degree or higher - (attach evidence), OR 4. Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. (If passed, attach CBEST, or evidence of passing a Paraprofessional Exam in compliance with the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Please attach evidence to the application in Ed-join. Applicants who have not previously met these requirements are welcome to apply, but if selected for an interview, will be contacted by Human Resources prior to their interview to take a Paraprofessional test at the District Office. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of current and valid American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certificate, or certificate must be received within 30 calendar days of first day of employment.
