Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for end users, computer systems, network equipment, software applications, and IT peripherals. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-service mindset, and experience supporting a variety of hardware, operating systems, and mobile devices. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users, computers, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and software applications . Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, switches, routers, cameras, and other peripherals. Support network installation and connectivity , including basic networking concepts and troubleshooting. Provide technical support for both Apple and Android phones and tablets . Assist with hardware deployment, upgrades, maintenance, and replacement. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and peripheral issues. Set up new users, workstations, devices, and applications as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of equipment, configurations, and technical issues. Escalate complex technical issues when necessary and work with other IT resources to resolve problems. Provide professional, responsive support to employees and maintain a high level of customer service. Qualifications 2+ years of relevant IT technical support experience. Certification, continuing education, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; an appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered. Working knowledge of networking concepts and installation . Experience supporting Windows operating systems and software applications . Comfortable supporting Apple and Android phones and tablets . Hands-on experience with hardware deployment and maintenance, including: Laptops and desktops Printers Switches and routers Other IT peripherals Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
