Allegiance Staffing west office has immediate opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electronic and computer controlled mechanical systems, such as robotic assembly machines. Successful candidate must have a combined knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery
- Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the method of sequence of assembly of parts, machines, or pieces of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies.
- Ability to verify dimensions of parts, using precision measuring instruments to ensure that specifications are met.
- Install electronic parts and hardware using soldering equipment and hand tools.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, rotating every four months
