Job Description:

The RN will work in a Level I Trauma Center, responsible for delivering patient care in the Emergency Room, providing critical support to a wide variety of patients with trauma, sepsis, chest pain, shortness of breath, strokes, and more. Must have prior experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
• Evaluate and assess patient needs, consistently considering cultural differences and patient preferences.

Requirements:

• Current RN license with trauma experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center.
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (NRP Preferred).
• Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation—must receive a 90% to pass or risk termination of contract.
• No artificial fingernails in departments providing patient care.
• Compliance with established radius rule: candidate may not work full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit.
