Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department seeing approximately 210 visits per day
• Manage and monitor ventilated patients as part of routine ED care
• Maintain a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio while delivering safe, efficient emergency nursing care
• Support Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) and Medics in the delivery of team-based care
• Provide every-other-weekend coverage, with 4 weekend shifts expected per contract
• Maintain all required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and a de-escalation certification (MAB, CPI, MOAB, or equivalent)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and de-escalation certification (MAB, CPI, MOAB, or equivalent) required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Experience in a large, urban, high-volume Emergency Department required
• Ventilated patient experience required
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR required
• Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity, high-census emergency setting
