Summit Staffing is hiring an Industrial Painter for a manufacturing facility in Coppell, TX. This role involves preparing and applying coatings to packaging materials and components while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates have experience with spray equipment and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Details
Location: Coppell, Texas
Type: Contract-to-hire
Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00/hour
Schedule:1st Shift (Monday - Friday, + OT Saturday)

Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming materials
Apply paint, stain, or coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes
Mix coatings to meet color and finish requirements
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and consistency
Perform touch-ups and rework as needed
Maintain painting equipment and keep work areas clean
Follow all safety procedures when handling paints and chemicals
Read and follow work orders and production instructions
Work with team members to meet daily production goals

Skills & Experience
1+ year of industrial painting or related experience preferred
Experience with spray equipment (HVLP or airless) is a plus
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Strong attention to detail and quality
Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
Manufacturing or warehouse experience
Knowledge of safety standards and PPE use
Forklift experience is a plus

Work Environment
Industrial / warehouse setting
Exposure to dust, fumes, and noise
Requires standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
PPE required: respirator, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots
