HumanEdge Healthcare Staffing is growing and seeking energetic, relationship-driven Healthcare Recruiters to join our Manhattan team. This is an exciting opportunity to recruit nurses, allied health professionals, behavioral health professionals, physicians, and other healthcare talent while building a rewarding career with one of the region's leading healthcare staffing firms.

This is a phone-first recruiting role. Success comes from building genuine relationships, asking the right questions, and understanding each candidate's career goals. While texting and email are valuable recruiting tools, they are designed to support—not replace—live conversations. What You'll Do

• Recruit healthcare professionals for temporary, temp-to-perm, direct hire, and travel opportunities.

• Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, social media, networking, and other recruiting platforms.

• Conduct in-depth phone interviews to evaluate candidates' experience, credentials, availability, and career goals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals throughout the recruiting process.

• Match qualified candidates with appropriate client openings based on skills, experience, location, and schedule.

• Prepare candidates for interviews and provide coaching to maximize success.

• Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with both candidates and clients.

• Collect and review employment documents, licenses, certifications, references, and onboarding paperwork.

• Partner with credentialing and compliance teams to ensure candidates are fully cleared for assignment.

• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within Bullhorn (ATS/CRM).

• Follow up with employees after placement to ensure successful assignments and long-term retention.

• Meet recruiting activity goals while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• Outstanding verbal communication and relationship-building skills.

• Professional and confident telephone presence.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to prioritize multiple openings in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable making outbound recruiting calls throughout the day.

• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn recruiting technology.

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly dependable.

Nice to Have

• Healthcare recruiting or healthcare staffing experience.

• Experience recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Allied Health Professionals, Therapists, Physicians, or Behavioral Health professionals.

• Experience using Bullhorn or another Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

• Experience using Indeed Resume, LinkedIn Recruiter, Vivian, or other sourcing tools.

• Background in recruiting, staffing, customer service, admissions, sales, or another relationship-focused role.

• Knowledge of healthcare credentialing and licensing requirements.
