Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide individualized, couples, and family therapy sessions through telehealth to clients seeking outpatient services, utilizing therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's needs. \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' relational dynamics and mental health challenges, crafting personalized treatment plans that set realistic and attainable goals. \n
- Apply theories of family systems and communication to facilitate discussions around relationship dynamics and broaden understanding among family members. \n
- On-call support in crisis scenarios, ensuring immediate intervention for clients in need of urgent care while maintaining their safety and emotional security. \n
- Maintain precise and confidential records, treatment notes, and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical counseling standards. \n
- Educate clients on essential skills such as effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies to enhance their overall resilience and mental wellness. \n
- Collaborate with fellow therapists, social workers, and healthcare providers for a holistic approach to client care, ensuring seamless referral processes and continuity of care. \n
- Continually enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development and educational opportunities in marriage and family therapy. \n
Your role will be pivotal in working with a diverse client population that includes individuals, couples, and families navigating various challenges—including relational issues, parenting concerns, and stressors stemming from life transitions. You will work closely with clients who may be experiencing mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Understanding the nuances of their situations will be critical in guiding them toward improved emotional health.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon is required. \n
- A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline. \n
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience working as a licensed LMFT, preferably in an outpatient setting. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage clients and peers. \n
- Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in counseling practices. \n
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. \n
- Willingness to maintain flexible hours to meet client scheduling needs. \n

- Experience working in outpatient therapy services, particularly familiar with teletherapy practices. \n
- Knowledge of the challenges faced by families dealing with addiction and recovery. \n
- Trained in specific therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or Emotionally Focused Therapy. \n

- Salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. \n
