Director of Young Adult and Family Ministries Saint Marks United Methodist Church Full Time , On-Site Full-Time Director of Young Adult and Family Ministries Position at Saint Marks United Methodist Church, Sacramento, CA The Director of Young Adult and Family Ministries provide spiritual guidance and support to members of the church community. Assist in areas as needed in support of the Senior Pastor. Attend and participate in church activities throughout the week, including evening activities to the extent possible. Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive Children, Youth, and Young Adult programs, including weekly meetings, the leadership of Young Adult Bible Studies, retreats, mission trips, and service projects that embody passionate worship, agape love, and bold witness. Develop and execute outreach programs to schools and other organizations outside of the church, engaging the broader community with compassionate acts. Create and maintain relationships with other local churches and Christian groups to facilitate children, youth, and young adult family engagement. Lead the outreach to unchurched youth, children, and young adults in our community. Assist in Congregational Care, Family Ministries, and Confirmation Classes.
