Job Description Summary – Scaffold E&D Foreman As a Scaffold E&D Foreman, you will design scaffold plans, coordinate material orders, manage documentation, and mentor scaffold carpenters. You will work closely with the E&D Foreman 2 and E&D Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient scaffold erection and dismantling. Responsibilities Design various types of scaffolds and order materials as required. Prepare and maintain documentation—delivery/pick‑up tickets, time sheets, extra work authorizations, safety plans, job safety analyses (JSAs), and scaffold inspection checklists. Mentor and coach Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenters, facilitating their development. Supervise crews and up to three Lead Carpenters during scaffold erection and dismantling. Ensure compliance with OSHA scaffold rules and regulations. Maintain safe work practices and enforce height‑safety standards. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years as a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter or comparable experience. Trade school training preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license. Ability to work safely at considerable heights. Bilingual skills are a plus. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong supervisory skills—manage crews and up to three Lead Carpenters. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations for scaffold safety. Comprehensive understanding of scaffold materials and load limitations. Physical Demands Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 40 pounds or more are required.
