Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric - Adult Job Description This position involves providing psychiatric services in an inpatient setting, focusing on adult patients. The unit comprises a small number of beds to ensure individualized care and attention. Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and competent psychiatric nursing care to adult patients.
- Perform blood draws as needed; phlebotomy experience is required.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess and develop patient treatment plans.
- Participate in crisis intervention and management.
- Support patients in their therapeutic goals during their stay.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.
- Minimum 2 years of current psychiatric nursing experience.
- Current phlebotomy experience is mandatory.
- ACLS and CPI certifications are strongly preferred.
- Experience working in small critical access facilities is preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation and a permanent address included in the profile.
- Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of application.
- All scheduling requests must be submitted with the application; changes after submission will not be accommodated.
- Orientation will not be billable.
