Overview
Registered Nurse – Endoscopy (GI/Endoscopy) in Potsdam, NY, United States. Travel assignment starting 07/06/2026 for multiple weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,211 to $2,371. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 5x8 Days. Hospital setting with GI/Endo procedures (colonoscopy, EGD).

- On-call/float: Eligible to float within the GI/Endo service as needed

Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient GI/Endoscopy nursing care before, during, and after procedures (colonoscopy and EGD), including monitoring vitals and sedation as part of the procedural team
- Assist physicians with GI/Endo procedures, ensuring sterile technique, instrument readiness, and appropriate documentation
- Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, assess for complications, and respond to changes in patient condition; document findings in Epic
- Administer medications per protocol and support patient recovery, including post-procedure education and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, maintain patient safety, infection control, and accurate turnover of procedure rooms
- May float to related GI/Endo areas as scheduled, maintaining patient-to-nurse ratios and unit standards

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand to submit
- BLS and ACLS required
- Epic charting experience required (hard requirement)
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Inpatient GI/Endo experience preferred
- Ability to work in an inpatient GI/Endo unit and float as needed; COVID-19 vaccine not required
