This role puts you at the center of delivering a secure, resilient cutting‑edge ground infrastructure housing mission critical space-based applications. You will shape how national security missions are executed from space to ground using modern deployment approaches and emerging technologies.Must be able and willing to work onsite at CACI facility in Sterling, VA.Responsibilities:Design, maintain, and optimize LAN/WAN/VPN network infrastructuresMonitor and evaluate network performance and healthTroubleshoot and resolve complex network, hardware, software, and infrastructure issuesPlan, test, and implement network upgrades, configurations, and revisionsEnsure compliance with network security policies and government regulationsEvaluate emerging network and communication technologiesProvide escalation support and communicate incident status to management and customersConduct site surveys, planning, and design supportMaintain thorough documentation of network configurations, procedures, and incidentsCollaborate with internal teams, external service providers, and customersQualifications:Required:Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study 10+ years of technical experience in Network and Transport technologies, tools, and techniquesDeep expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware NSX, VPN technologies, cryptographic devices, routing and switching, and cloud networking.Experience supporting both classified and unclassified networks.Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis toolsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and leadership abilitiesCertifications in information security (CISSP or Security+) requiredDesired:Full systems lifecycle experienceExperience with DevOps processes and toolsCertifications such as JNCIA, JNCIP, CCNA, CCNP, or similar are highly preferredThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
