Position Details

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)

Start Date: ASAP

Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic nursing.

First-Timers Accepted: Yes

Weekend Requirements: Yes

Certifications Required: BLS

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience in trauma nursing, neuro nursing, vascular nursing, and orthopedic nursing.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in the Epic charting system.
• Experience with trauma Level I cases is required.
• Travel experience is necessary.
• Must possess a valid compact nursing license.
• Ability to float between similar units is required.
• Must be willing to cover occasional night shifts as needed, with the potential for on-call duties.

  • Weekends: 3 RNs, 2 STs
• Call Requirements: Yes, call duties are distributed equally every 6 weeks.
• Orientation Hours: 40 hours
• Expected to Float: Yes, may need to float to nearby facilities as necessary.

Candidates should possess skills in the following areas:

• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair
• Hysterectomy (abdominal/vaginal)
• Amputations
• Endoscopic sinus procedures
• Trauma response and management
• Various orthopedic and vascular procedures
• Utilization of Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and related technologies
