Chief Financial Officer - Automotive Parts Manufacturer A global automotive parts manufacturing company is currently seeking a motivated CFO to join their facility in the North Nashville TN area. The ideal candidate will have established work experience in a finance/accounting department. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package. CFO Responsibilities Include: Oversee the Compliance Division with areas of trade compliance (CTPAT, AES, HazMat, FCPA, Export Control, etc.), corporate governance (J-SOX compliance), internal audit, and trade compliance training of staff. Oversee the accounting department including employee development, recruitment, performance evaluations, merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports. Perform financial and operational analysis and execution to support the company in managing budget and controlling expenses effectively. Prepare annual budget by working closely with senior management, branches, and other departments and compiling the information. Develop and/or maintain accounting policies and procedures for all accounting functions ensuring adequate controls, compliance with all relevant standards and regulations, and timely financial reporting. Resolve complex accounting issues by working with our operational and finance partners. Perform technical accounting research and analysis and draft memos. Oversee annual audit, tax compliance, and government reporting processes to ensure full cooperation with outside auditors and consultants and meeting all the deadlines. Monitor and control cash inflows/outflows and maintain sufficient cash balance needed for daily operations. Other duties as assigned. CFO Requirements Include: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or finance. International finance experience. Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations. Executive experience with SaaS business models and their associated revenue recognition.
