NEW-Heavy Equipment Diesel FIELD Mechanic

Overview We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, KNOWLEDGEABLE, SKILLED Class-A Heavy Equipment Diesel Field Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Field Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various types and brands of heavy equipment and diesel engines. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment and diesel engines (including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks). Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with heavy equipment, diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. Conduct inspections to identify faulty parts or components that need repair or replacement. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems accurately. Repair or replace defective parts, hydraulics, hydrostatic drives, brakes, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of diesel engines and heavy equipment. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed. Required Skills Strong knowledge of diesel engines. Must be a Class-A Diesel Mechanic . Experience or training at a dealership is preferred. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment repair and maintenance. Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues in diesel-powered engines and heavy equipment. Experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in diesel-powered engines and heavy equipment. Experience in diagnosing HVAC systems in diesel-powered engines and heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems in diesel-powered engines and heavy equipment. Must be experienced in both diagnosing and repairing, not only different types of heavy equipment, but also different brands of heavy equipment and diesel engines. Minimum of 2 years of experience and training.
