General Manager

About the Role:

Continental Hospitality is looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead operations at our property on the beautiful South Padre Island, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to take the helm of a hospitality destination and drive exceptional guest experiences while building a winning team. Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily hotel/property operations to ensure seamless guest satisfaction and service excellence

Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and front-line staff across all operational areas

Manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L to drive revenue growth and control costs

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy and RevPAR

Ensure compliance with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies

Build and maintain relationships with guests, vendors, and the local South Padre Island community

Monitor guest feedback and online reviews to continuously improve service quality

Requirements:

3–5+ years of General Manager or senior hospitality leadership experience

Proven track record in hotel operations, revenue management, and team leadership

Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L statements

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest relations skills

Experience with property management systems (PMS) and hospitality software

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal resort environment
