The Youth Mental Advocate Counseling Center is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our dynamic and compassionate team. In addition, our staff has the option to participate in group consultations either remotely or in person, creating opportunities for collaboration and peer support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and provide short-term psychotherapy tailored to client needs.

• Utilize evidence-based practices for individual, couple, family, and group therapy modalities.

• Deliver services such as crisis intervention, skills training, couples counseling, and family therapy.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in consultations to ensure integrated care.

• Effectively document therapy sessions, maintaining accurate clinical records and preparing necessary reports.
\n
• Analyze and assess treatment needs, determining the most appropriate levels of care and intervention strategies.

• Engage in quality assurance activities and participate in clinical team meetings to discuss outcomes and improve service delivery.

• Foster strong relationships with clients while managing confidentiality and ethical standards in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes individuals, families, and groups facing a wide range of mental health challenges and dual disorders. As a therapist at the Youth Mental Advocate Counseling Center, you will address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and addiction. Your therapeutic approach will be sensitive to sociocultural determinants, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance that empowers clients on their journey toward healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid LMFT or Psy.D license to practice in the state of New Jersey.

• Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in providing psychotherapy services in a clinical setting.

• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health records for client management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Youth Mental Advocate Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
