Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized wound care nursing services to patients on a per diem basis, ensuring optimal wound management and healing. The role involves assessing patient needs, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' wounds to determine appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on assessments.
• Monitor wound progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients and family members on wound care procedures and preventive measures.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the relevant state.
• Proven experience in wound care nursing.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong clinical assessment and wound management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
