Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - Days - Memorial Belleville, IL

Position: Full‑time Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) at Memorial Hospital Belleville, IL. Day shift: Monday–Friday 8 am–4:30 pm; extra pay call rotation every 7th weekend. Overview Memorial Hospital Belleville is a 94‑bed acute care facility offering comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services, including a Chest Pain Center and acute stroke readiness. The cardiovascular unit performs cardiac testing under direct physician orders. Role Purpose The Cardiac Sonographer performs a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, Holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo, and cardiac Doppler. Responsibilities Perform cardiac tests and procedures at various locations. Maintain accurate patient logs and patient files in the cardiac lab. Update daily charges in the computer and utilize cardiac lab menus. Minimum Requirements RDCS Registry (required). Associate's degree in allied health or sonography (preferred). High School Diploma or GED (minimum). Experience and Certifications No prior experience required. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification (preferred). Additional supervisor experience not required.
