Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology

Schedule: Days; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 30
- Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in nursing (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- At least one (1) year of oncology experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current BLS certification
- Must obtain OCN certification within one year of hire

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy IV fluids via peripherally inserted central catheters.
- Identify, assess, and diagnose patient problems through assessment and interactions.
- Develop and participate in patient education regarding post-discharge care.
- Initiate patient care meetings to revise care plans as necessary.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patient care.
- Document patient care in the health care record according to standards.
