Sheet Metal Installer

Sheet Metal InstallerAlliance Group is seeking a Sheet Metal Installer based in North Clarendon, VT to join our growing Install team. The Sheet Metal Installer will be responsible for performing installations, routine maintenance, and inspections on a variety of commercial HVAC and related mechanical systems and be experienced in working with sheet metal. Individuals must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and customer service.Compensation starts at $32.00/hour and can be negotiated based on experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and diagrams, and other specificationsMeasure, mark, cut, and/or modify sheet metal and other fabricated duct systems using hand or power tools as neededFabricate and install sheet metal products and components for HVAC ductwork and other sheet metal related productsTroubleshoot and resolve any issues related to sheet metal installationsInstall sheet metal duct, duct supports, and hangers meeting building code requirements and job specificationsSafely and skillfully utilize sheet metal tools and equipmentCoordinate and order sheet metal materials for projectsComplete As-builts and create RFI's as neededMaintain open communication with the Project Manager, General Contractor(s), and other crew members to ensure timely project completion and complianceEssential Qualifications and CompetenciesMinimum 6 years of experience in sheet metal requiredValid driver's license requiredEPA Certification requiredGas License requiredRigging certification preferredProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawingsUnderstanding of commercial HVAC systems desiredKnowledge of Build-Ops platform desiredStrong interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work efficientlyExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong attention to detailHigh level of reliability, follow-through, discretion, and integrityMust possess proactive, positive problem-solving skillsMust be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team playExcellent communication skills (written and oral)Must maintain a company vehicleMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basisU.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatoryApplicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.A pre-employment post-offer Human Performance Examination is required for this position.BenefitsCompetitive payComprehensive health insurance (including dental and vision)Health Saving Account with company contributionPaid Life InsuranceOther voluntary insurance options401(k) plan with company matchingGenerous paid time offPaid HolidaysQuarterly Bonus OpportunitiesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Professional development assistanceEmployee discountCompany ApparelAbout Alliance GroupAlliance Group Services, LLC is a premier provider of building automation and mechanical contracting services in New England.
