Accounts Receivable Specialist | Hybrid | Boulder, CO
We're partnering with an established organization in Boulder that is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide additional support during a busy year end period. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows their way around AR and collections, enjoys tackling outstanding balances, and can make an immediate impact.
The team is looking for someone who can jump in, take ownership of their workload, and help get accounts caught up before the end of the year. You'll be working through outstanding receivables, resolving discrepancies, and helping the accounting department get everything in order.
Oracle experience is a must for this position. If you're comfortable navigating Oracle, have a strong AR and collections background, and are available for a temporary assignment, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing As Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Assist with year end accounts receivable cleanup and collections efforts
- Review aging reports and follow up on outstanding customer balances
- Contact customers regarding past due invoices and payment arrangements
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and unapplied cash
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate payment application
- Process and monitor incoming payments within Oracle
- Partner with internal accounting teams to resolve outstanding receivables
- Maintain accurate collections notes, account records, and supporting documentation
- Help reduce overdue balances and bring AR accounts current before year end
What You Bring As Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Previous experience in accounts receivable and commercial collections
- Hands on Oracle experience required
- Strong understanding of AR aging, payment application, account reconciliations, and collections processes
- Ability to research discrepancies and independently resolve outstanding balances
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
- Strong communication skills and confidence following up with customers on past due balances
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of accounts and prioritize collections activity
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to jump in and contribute immediately
