Pay Rate: $2,600.00 to $2,900.00 Gross Per Week

Length: 13 weeks

EMR: Epic

Shifts Covered:

• 4:30p-7:30a Friday into Saturday
• 6:30p-7:30a Saturday to Sunday
• 6:30p-7:30a Sunday into Monday

Weekday coverage:

2 techs during the day

2 technologists until 9:00 PM

Weekend Coverage:

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM + an on call tech

4:00 PM – 11:00 PM: 2 technologists

On-Call Requirements: None

On-Call Room Availability: N/A

Additional Details:

Patient Volume: Varies based on the day and ER activity; typically slower overnight

Additional Modalities: CT and X-ray (no additional modalities beyond this)

Patient Population:

• Emergency Department
• Inpatient
• Outpatient and procedural cases

Average Scans per Shift: Approximately 12–20 scans per technologist

Clinical Scope:

Common Scan Types:

Emergency, Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic imaging

Contrast Studies:

Yes – technologists are responsible for initiating and monitoring contrast exams as applicable.

REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:

• CT experience is preferred but not required for this opening

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• BLS
• ARRT

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

New York State Radiologic Technologist License (required)

• Licensure Note: NY State radiology licensure typically has a 2–4 week processing turnaround for out-of-state candidates
• New York State Injection License (IV contrast injection cert/authorization)

ABOUT THE FACILITY

Our Center is a 180-bed, acute care inpatient teaching facility in Cooperstown, New York. We offer 24-hour emergency and trauma care, comprehensive cancer and heart care, dialysis, and most medical and surgical specialties. The Clinic is located on the same campus as the medical center, and provides outpatient primary and specialty care.
