FreedomPay is a fast paced, high growth company with a great culture with competitive benefits and compensation with a business casual atmosphere.ResponsibilitiesWork within the Agile Scrum team to create stories, tasks, estimates, and delivery each SprintAnalyze requirements and translate specifications into system designs Apply systems thinking to create solutions across environments and productsCollaborate in the selection of software development tools and frameworksInfluence product design by being the voice of maintainabilityEnsure the delivery of high quality and rigorously consistent productsContribute to the design of the company's software standard Code application libraries for re-usability and test ability.Define projects, tasks, and release deliverablesContribute to software process improvementStrive to become a subject matter expert in FreedomPay products and the payment industryInterface with internal stakeholdersLearn and adapt to the ever-changing hardware and software environments of payment systems and processingUpdate technical documentation Work with the QA team to ensure proper test plan, test coverage, test executionRequired Skills and Experience7 years’ experience in application development and testing using .NET and SQLStrong web development using MVC, jQueryDeep understanding of the SPA framework architectures, React, Angular, Redux, MicroUI’s, Typescript, State Management, Server-side rendering, API layers with security in mind, JWT TokensExposure to agile software developmentExpert-level understanding of web technologies such as CSS, HTML, Javascript, WebsocketsStrong Knowledge of web performance, localization, and accessibility best practicesExperience breaking-down monolithic web applications into componentsExcellent problem solver who delivers innovative solutionsEnjoys a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects during a sprintReliable team memberExperience with accurate task estimating and planningEffective English communication skills (Listening, Speaking, Writing)Strong SQL Server development skillsUnderstanding of secure coding practicesFamiliarity with GitMicrosoft OfficeMust pass a criminal background checkAs the fastest growing commerce company in the industry, we offer the opportunity for tremendous upward mobility within the company as well as development and professional growth opportunities.
