Strategic IT Leader - Supply Chain Planning Transformation

Our client is seeking a visionary Strategic IT Leader with deep technical expertise to drive the large-scale transformation of their Supply Chain Planning capabilities. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction and optimizing capital expenditure through data-driven insights and advanced planning strategies.


As a pivotal member of the leadership team, you will define the technology vision, create multi-year roadmaps, and oversee the end-to-end implementation of connected systems.


Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Vision: Define the technology strategy for planning processes and systems in close collaboration with operations and manufacturing partners.

• Modernization & AI: Lead transformation initiatives leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, AI, and automation.

• Operational Excellence: Manage the architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement of planning platforms.

• Data Governance: Ensure robust data governance and master data integrity across the entire supply chain ecosystem.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams to align supply chain decisions with financial operating plans and strategic goals.

• Leadership: Foster a culture of accountability and integrity by developing the next generation of sub-leaders.

• Factory Integration: Interact with manufacturing teams to provide high-quality factory start plans and scenario planning to optimize efficiency.

What You Bring

• Expertise: 8+ years of experience delivering end-to-end Advanced Supply Chain Planning solutions (Demand Forecasting, Capacity Planning, Inventory Optimization, etc.) within the manufacturing industry.

• Technical Depth: A deep understanding of architectural concepts, software system design, and emerging technologies.

• Operational Fluency: A practical understanding of manufacturing constraints and the ability to communicate effectively from the shop floor to the boardroom.

• Business Acumen: Sound knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and the science of balancing service levels with inventory costs.

• Analytical Prowess: Proficiency in interpreting vast data sets to uncover trends and make decisive, data-driven decisions.

Education & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Data Science (Master's preferred).

• Leadership: Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, drive cross-functional initiatives, and gain consensus among stakeholders.

• Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment while ensuring on-time project delivery.

• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
• Proven track record in change management and driving user adoption through effective training.
• High energy and a self-motivated approach to building influential relationships.
