Event Staff

Location : New York, NY 10011 Work Schedule : 09/29, 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM, 1 day Compensation : $27.00/hr Position Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Event Staff to support a one-day Graduate Fair event at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. This role involves assisting with event setup, engaging with attendees and exhibitors, and ensuring the event runs smoothly. It's a great opportunity for energized individuals who enjoy dynamic, customer-focused environments. Key Responsibilities Assist with event setup and transport boxes to exhibit booths Welcome and escort exhibitors to their designated areas Check in and assist event attendees upon arrival Be present on the event floor to actively engage with participants Answer questions, provide directions, and facilitate a positive attendee experience Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor throughout the event Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience Friendly, warm, and approachable personality Comfortable using an iPad or similar device Confident in interacting and engaging with event attendees Reliable, professional, and punctual Preferred Skills & Experience Previous experience in event staffing or customer service roles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle dynamic environments with flexibility and poise Benefits Eligible employees may have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, and other company-sponsored programs, subject to eligibility requirements.
