PBX Operator

Hospital Receptionist

Communicates in a customer oriented professional manner to assist patients, visitors and other customers. Operates a telephone switchboard in order to relay incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls; performs various hospital communications and clerical duties; acts as hospital receptionist.

High School Diploma or the equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and understand English required. Two years related experience in a health care facility preferred. Highly prefer prior switchboard experience. Knowledge of basic office procedures/equipment and computer systems and software required. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required, including ability to tactfully deal with the public in all types of situations such as level of service and financial responsibility. Ability to organize and prioritize projects. Basic computer skills.

Estimated pay is based on qualifications (including but not limited to experience, education, certifications, and licensure where applicable).
