Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge or check-in procedures as directed by site policy, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Support Allied Universal team operations by communicating clearly with site personnel and/or first responders, following post orders, and adapting to varying working environments and conditions across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
