Description:

We are seeking a patient-centered and empathetic physician to join our Family Medicine Core Faculty for our dual-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program. Core Faculty members devote the majority of their professional effort to the residency program in teaching, administration, scholarly activity, and patient care within the program. Focus is on outpatient primary care medicine with coverage in outpatient continuity clinic and rotation precepting. The faculty team includes a program director, core physician faculty, a faculty psychologist, a director of Graduate Medical Education, a clinical supervisor, medical education assistants, and clinical staff. The position involves a mix of inpatient and outpatient teaching. Responsibilities include 75% precepting, 10% lectures, and 15% administrative work. Education and experience requirements include board eligibility or certification, with three years of relevant experience preferred. Successful candidates must maintain board certification status and obtain and maintain a medical license in Indiana. The role also requires eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs. Candidate should possess the ability to complete required evaluations and competencies based on ongoing assessments. Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
