RN - MS Tele Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Must have active certifications at the time of submission Description: This position offers a 36-hour work week on a 13-20 week contract. The role involves providing care in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty during night shifts. Candidates should possess experience in managing patients in a telemetry unit. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong clinical skills and be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. A reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for qualification. All required certifications must be current and active prior to submission. Candidates will complete assessments during orientation that are necessary for their role. Applicants with any background checks will be reviewed, and those with open cases will not be considered. Compliance with nicotine‑free policies is required, except for nursing staff and surgical technologists, who are currently exempt. All other travelers must be nicotine‑free and pass a drug screen. Candidates should be prepared for a potential 6‑month break before returning to the organization after their contract ends.
