Minimum of 30 hours per week, but may increase to 40 depending on department needs./ppThe Target Pay for this position is $25.87 an hour. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions./pulliMust be proficient in at least three clinical areas/liliResponsible for performing tests such as Parasitology, Hematology, Chemistry and Serology/liliProcess and prepare samples/liliPerform all required quality control per Quality Assurance guidelines/liliTrain in all areas to include Specimen Processing, Chemistry, Hematology, UA, and Coagulant according to all SOPs/liliOversee the entering and releasing of results/liliRead UA slides at the required rate/liliReconcile pending list/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulpWe share a collaborative obligation to ensure that we conduct ourselves in the utmost ethical manner and that we hold each other accountable to the values and standards of the organization. Antech Diagnostics has several processes in place to communicate with leadership and expects that employees will have a commitment to integrity and uncompromising values./ph3Education and Experience/h3ulliAssociates/bachelors degree in medical technology or MLT degree in related field is preferred/liliClinical laboratory experience in Hematology is preferred/li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/h3ulliLaboratory skills and experience/liliGeneral science background/liliAttention to detail and ability to work independently/liliOrganized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skill/liliProficiency in the English language which allows for participation in team meetings, accurate entry of data into company systems and understanding of written directions/liliPersonal computer skills, strong typing ability, and knowledge of Microsoft Office/li/ulh3Working Conditions/h3ulliStationary Position- must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 2 hours./liliOperates a computer and other lab equipment accurately and efficiently/liliOccasionally required to bend, kneel, stoop, or crouch/liliRequired to lift, move, and carry up to 20 lbs./liliHeavy microscopic work/liliThe ability to observe details at close range/liliExtended hours may be needed/liliLaboratory environments with potential biohazards present that are mitigated by the mandatory use of PPE/liliPotential for exposure to agents known to cause zoonotic disease in humans and use of potentially hazardous chemicals as defined by the National Hazard Communication Standards.
