Medical Assistant – Lakeway, TX

Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour DOE

We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a busy, fast-paced medical office in Lakeway, TX .

This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable, energetic Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients and physicians and can stay organized in a high-volume clinical environment.

Schedule

• Monday–Wednesday: 7:15 AM–4:30 PM
• Thursday: 9:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM–2:00 PM

Pay

$20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures
• Obtain and document patient histories and vital signs
• Assist the physician during examinations and in-office procedures
• Prepare and clean examination rooms between patients
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
• Provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with clinical workflow and other duties as needed
• Learn to operate specialized equipment and technology, including medical laser equipment and gait analysis technology

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Assistant experience required
• Experience working in a physician's office or clinical setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize throughout the workday
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
• Comfortable learning new medical equipment, procedures, and technology
