As a Parts Counter-person, you will be responsible for sourcing, supplying, and tracking automotive parts and accessories for a wide range of vehicles to support the efficiency and success of our Service and Collision departments.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the parts sales process from initial request to final deliveryAccurately identify and source parts using manufacturer catalogs and online systemsProvide professional, timely, and courteous service to customers, technicians, and service advisorsRespond promptly to incoming phone calls and emails with pricing, availability, and product informationProcess and track parts orders, including special and emergency orders when necessaryVerify parts on collision and service estimates for accuracy and pricing consistencyPull and stage parts for service repairs, and ensure parts are billed correctly to repair ordersMonitor inventory levels and perform weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy and availabilityReceive and stock incoming parts shipments in an organized and efficient mannerNotify Parts Manager of critical back orders or parts requiring urgent attentionMaintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety and company policiesReceive retail payments and/or obtain appropriate credit authorizationsCollaborate with other departments to maintain workflow efficiency and customer satisfactionQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious automotive parts counter experience preferredStrong understanding of automotive systems, components, and service processesProficient with parts catalog software and dealership DMS systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds)Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to read and interpret service manuals, estimates, and technical documentsCompetence in basic math, including percentages, discounts, and markupsAbility to lift and move moderately heavy parts (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for extended periodsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordWhat We Offer:At C.
