Would you like to work with a company that values their employees?Five Star Valet Southwest Florida's premier luxury parking provider, welcomes you to apply to be a Parking Lot Attendant through the 2026-2027 Season.Job Description: Parking lot attendants will safely and efficiently direct vehicle traffic to parking lots and spaces during events at Hertz Arena. They will wear a florescent safety vest while using open hand signals and traffic batons to direct incoming/outgoing vehicles. While it is required to stand while directing traffic, there are periods during the event where the attendant can sit.Compensation:$18/hour Locations and Hours:Hertz Area, Estero, FL 33928Hertz has the calendar planned out for the 2024-2025, however this part time position is flexible based on your available days. We welcome weekend applicants.Shifts:- Start around 3:00-4:00 PM and finish between 8:00-9:00 PM- 4 hours long- Available 3 to 4 days per week- Available on the weekendJob Duties & Responsibilities: - Directing traffic in a standing position for a 4-5 hour shift with down time in between to allow for seated breaks- Greeting and assisting guests by opening doors, directing them to the nearest open parking spots, and helping them to exit vehicles- Assisting and directing traffic flow to exit the property- Monitoring the parking lot - Being alert and aware of surroundings- Setting up and breaking down of signage and equipment- Using two-way radios to communicate with other team members- Observe safety and security procedures- Positively representing 5 Star Valet by being respectful to teammates and the public in all situationsPhysical Requirements:- Stand for long periods of time (4-6 hours)- Bend, squat, lift, push, and carry up to 25 pounds (signs, cones, barriers, podium, etc.)- Ability to work and maintain concentration in all weather conditions (heat, wind, rain)Essential Qualifications and Skills:- Must pass a criminal background check- Employees must have a smart mobile phone with access to internet and email- Must have a reliable transportation to get to work- Must be reliable and trustworthy- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, patrons and management with English language proficiency- Ability to provide superior customer service with clear communication and direction to patrons- Ability to anticipate patron needs- Ability to make good judgments- Ability to ensure security of vehicles and account property- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client/company information- Ability to perform assignments with minimal supervision- Ability to work alone or cohesively with co-workers as part of a teamOur Company:Five Star Valet, Naples, FL Star Valet is proud to be the premier luxury parking provider in Southwest Florida.
