Overview Locum Tenens Urologist Location: Atlanta Suburbs, GA Specialty: Urology Dates of Coverage Needed Duration: 9-12 months, beginning ASAP Estimated Patient Volume Patients per Day: 21 Licensure Required: Must be licensed in GA or hold an IMLC. Shift Details Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Description of the Need The candidate will be responsible for both surgical procedures and outpatient clinic duties. While 24-hour call coverage may be available, the primary focus remains on the day clinical shifts as per current bids. Responsibilities Responsibilities include performing office procedures and minor surgeries, with larger, more complex cases being delegated to internal urologists. Patient Types Inpatient rounding Clinic call patients Emergency Department/ACC consults Call Support Candidates will provide in-house and beeper call coverage, although residing on hospital premises is not mandatory at all times. Currently, the coverage will include two hospitals approximately 15 miles apart. Flexibility to cover both sites is required, though this arrangement may evolve to a single hospital in the future.
