MasTec Civil is currently hiring for a Pile Driver Leadman to join our team in Tampa, FL. The Pile-Driver Leadman will operate machines that pound steel, concrete, and wood posts into the ground for construction projects.

Responsibilities

Operates pile-driving machinery to drive posts into the ground for support of fences, buildings, and other structures. Reviews building plans, ensuring pilings are installed accurately. Provide reports and receive updates from the Pile-Driver operator. Inspects machinery prior to beginning shift to ensure there are no mechanical problems. Cleans, lubricates, and performs basic maintenance on machinery. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred. Vocational or technical school training preferred. Previous related experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Excellent mechanical skills. Ability to operate complex machinery. Excellent hand-eye coordination. Good verbal communication skills with the ability to follow instructions. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
