Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join a growing mail-order compounding pharmacy in Athens, Ohio, offering an excellent opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians seeking to develop specialized skills in sterile IV compounding. This full-time, temp-to-perm position is ideal for motivated professionals with 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience who are eager to expand their expertise with comprehensive on-the-job training. No prior compounding experience is necessary, as thorough training will be provided to bring you up to speed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, data entry, and order fulfillment.
- Participate in hands-on training to support both non-sterile and sterile compounding, including IV preparations.
- Accurately fill, label, and package prescriptions for mail distribution following strict quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with USP standards and pharmacy regulations.
- Manage inventory and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Support shipping activities and coordinate workflow efficiently.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Active Pharmacy Technician license if required by state regulations.
- No prior compounding experience required; training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to learning new skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
