Role Description We are now hiring a full-time Senior Sports Trader to join our U.S. Trading team, based in Henderson, Nevada. The Senior Sports Trader will have expertise in trading basketball, especially the NBA. The Trading team uses proprietary models to make markets; backed by industry-leading automated algorithms, we lean on our human judgment skills to post, monitor, and adjust market prices in response to new information. As a Senior Sports Trader you will be responsible for managing the odds generation process and output for all sports on offer. You will collaborate with the trading teams in Henderson, NV, USA and Zagreb, Croatia, to provide timely, accurate, and responsive pricing during both pregame and live trading. Responsibilities Define and manage odds generation process for basketball leagues, with the focus on in-play trading, in particular for live NBA games Have a baseline knowledge of all sports on offer with the ability to trade any sport as needed. Identify errors and override/adjust automated data and pricing feeds Collaborate with the trading team in uncertain situations to adjust markets on offer Provide comprehensive trading support to clients around the world. To facilitate this, working hours will include afternoon and evening shifts and on weekends. You may be expected to work until 10 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) Additional responsibilities will grow through experience and demonstrated expertise Your Qualifications Broad sports knowledge, with particular experience in pricing and trading NBA basketball Focus and attention to detail Numerate, probabilistic thinker Ability to collaborate, embrace uncertainty, recognize and learn from mistakes Flexibility in scheduling (primarily afternoons and evenings, including weekends and public holidays in accordance with the sports calendar) Previous experience in sports trading preferred 25 days paid time off Health, dental and vision insurance 401k with 4% company match Individual education budget, gym membership stipend, additional PTO for life events, etc. Sound Interesting?
