Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Newport, New Hampshire

Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) passionate about making a positive impact in the classroom setting. This contract position provides an engaging environment working with a 1st grade student moving into 2nd grade, fostering academic and behavioral growth. Set in a supportive school environment, this role is ideal for an RBT eager to apply their expertise while gaining valuable experience under the guidance of an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).


Key Qualifications:

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing
• Experience working with students in elementary school settings, preferably 1st or 2nd grade
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in educational teams
• Proficiency in implementing behavior intervention plans and data collection
• Ability to maintain a positive, patient, and encouraging demeanor with students

• Provide dedicated, one-on-one support to a student advancing from 1st to 2nd grade
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to promote positive behaviors and support academic progress
• Accurately collect and record student data and progress notes
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and the BCBA to adapt strategies for optimal student success
• Maintain confidential student information, adhering to all regulations and guidelines

• One RBT needed
• 6 hours per day, totaling 30 hours per week
• Work closely with a skilled BCBA for ongoing supervision and professional support
