Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring at least 24 months of Cath experience and Impella, IABP, and Penumbra equipment proficiency.Details:Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 2 bedsPatient population includes coronary PCI and structural heart casesUses Impella, IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump), and Penumbra equipmentDays shift, 4x9 hour shifts starting at 0700, 36 hrs/weekCall requirement of 10 to 12 shifts per month, including every 3rd weekendEPIC EMR used, EPIC Cupid experience highly preferredRequirements:Active IA state or compact/multistate RN license requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience requiredExperience with Coronary PCI and Structural Heart patient types requiredEquipment experience with Impella, IABP, and Penumbra requiredExperience with vasopressor, vasodilator, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitor drips requiredSkills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL required for considerationProfessional reference from supervisor/charge nurse/manager/director within past 24 months preferredDriver's license required for considerationAdditional Information:Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab for coronary PCI and structural heart patientsMust reside at least 50 miles from the facility, no local candidates acceptedHoliday coverage required for 1-2 of the 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closedFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyPast UPH employees (FTE or PRN float pool) may not work as travelers at any UPH market facility if employed within the past 12 months
