3X12-Hour Night Shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for our Critical Care Flex Pool. This role involves providing high-level care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and the ability to manage complex patient cases effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and continuous monitoring of critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Manage patients on cardiac drips (excluding vasopressors).
• Read and interpret cardiac strips independently.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with the management and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Support patients' emotional and psychological needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required.
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license (required).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Experience with cardiac drips and dysrhythmia management is necessary.
• Previous experience in MS/Tele and/or PCU preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
