Job Summary:

The X-ray/Rad Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The role requires maintaining high standards of patient care and technical proficiency in radiologic procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
2. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
3. Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures, including records of certifications and tests.
4. Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control procedures.
5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure proper patient care and imaging accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Hold relevant ARRT certification and valid driver’s license with picture identification.
• Provide a current background check and relevant nursing-related competencies/exams records.
• Possess up-to-date BLS, ACLS, or PALS certifications.
• Submit tuberculosis testing records, hepatitis vaccine records, and influenza vaccine or declination documentation.
• Complete and provide agency-specific drug test and liability insurance documentation.
