CRU nurses provide care across multiple inpatient departments, allowing them to develop a broad clinical skill set while adapting to diverse patient populations and care settings. As a member of CRU, nurses gain exposure to cardiac, step-down, medical, surgical, and acute rehabilitation patient populations, strengthening their clinical judgment, adaptability, and confidence. This model supports nurses in expanding their competencies while maintaining high standards of patient care in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. CRU is part of Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, thrombectomy-capable stroke center, and Magnet®-designated hospital, providing nurses the opportunity to care for complex, high-acuity patients within a culture of excellence. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certificate issued by the American Heart Association Minimum of one year of RN experience required What You’ll Do As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
